New Beat...

Man how fast 8 years can pass. Thats about how old this beat is. Back then during the Myspace days it was gonna go on a project I was working on titled 'Beats Rhymes and Bussdowns' all the beats on there had a real pimp type mackish theme to em....lol I might release that project in the near future... I didn't add much to the beat besides mixing it down better. When I heard some joints from Detroit artist Payroll I thought this beat would be a good fit for his style of rap.... Search Google for Payroll's 'Wake Up Get Money' and let me know in the comments if you think he would sound good over Mack productions.... Press play and share!

(Update 9/2/14)

dead prez - Police State (Cudda Remix)

Who would have thought a song that was made 14 years ago would reference events in the future? This shows how ahead of the times hiphop group dead prez was when they created their masterpiece 'Lets Get Free' in March of 2000. The song police state is a news broadcast for the week of August 9th 2014. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know exactly what happened. Those events inspired me to remix the dead prez 'Police State' and to help spread awareness about police brutality through my music over a non sampled beat. Hopefully this track helps someone to relate....

New Beat...

One of the many beats I've putting together without using traditional samples. I made this on a Friday morning in about 30 minutes eating a bowl of cereal. Who do you think would sound good over this? That number really means this is beat number 3406. Let me know in the comments. Press play and share!

Xbox Reportedly Developing Television Series Based On Nas' Life

Xbox Reportedly Developing Television Series Based On Nas' Life
With news of Nasupcoming anniversary reissue of his 1994 album Illmatic recently released, Deadline is now reporting that the rapper is in talks with Microsoft’s Xbox Entertainment Studios for a planned half-hour television series.
Tentatively titled "Street Dreams," the series is apparently “loosely based” on Nas’ life and rise to fame as an emcee in the Queensbridge projects in New York. Slated for a half-hour spot, "Street Dreams" will be written and directed by Jonathan Levine who is well known for his 2011 directing of the Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starring 50/50. Levine, who grew up in New York City throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, also wrote and directed a movie set in New York called The Wackness which won the 2008 Sundance Audience Award for Dramatic Film. via sohh.com http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.27474/title.xbox-reportedly-developing-television-series-based-on-nas-life
